Welcome to Cherry Hill Equestrian Centre!
Cherry Hill Equestrian Centre is home to three breeding programs - Kelly Acres Welsh Ponies and Cobs(since 1966), MI Sport Horses and Ponies (since 1987), and Domino Acres (since 2000).
Specializing in top quality Welsh Ponies, Cobs, and part-breds, Cherry Hill offers a great selection of prospects through going ponies and horses. Standing at stud are purebred Welsh stallion Mi Bare Essentials, and the sport stallion, Mi Neon Lights.
We are home to the Cherry Hill Pony Club and are located near Harris, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Cherry Hill Equestrian Centre would love to thank all the bidders, buyers and visitors from our recent auction. We are extremely happy that the ponies sold have found wonderful new homes, and are glad to have met so many new friends and clients.
We would especially like to thank: Shaun Mcmanus for helping with the phones on April 19, Christy Weese for continuing to answer the phone when I called panicking with website questions, Liza Tosh for helping when we needed a French translator, Janice McClelland for helping with auction questions. A special thank you to my husband Bill, and son Garret for being so patient - I truly appriciate it and hopefully life will get back to normalish soon!
We will continue to breed and sell Welsh Ponies, Cobs, Sport Ponies and Sport Horses in the future, just on a much smaller scale.
Due to the fact we are approx 60 miles from the current EHV-1 virus outbreak near Saskatoon, and the fact we are a closed herd, we are not allowing any new horses on our farm. We are requiring any visitors to please wash your boots (rubber boots recommended!) in our boot wash provided, please do not wear clothes that have been exposed to other horses/ponies etc. We are also recommending that horse movement to and from other locations be limited until the threat of this outbreak is over. Anyone who is planning to purchase ponies from us, please feel free to make boarding arrangements in order to limit horse travel in the area, especially if you are planning to haul with commercial haulers.
